Where is Alice in Winterland?

When does Alice in Winterland open?

Alice in Winterland is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 22nd November – 15th December

Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 20th December to 30th December

Times: Entry 4pm – last admission 7pm.

How can I purchase tickets for Alice in Winterland?

You can purchase tickets here. As this event has a maximum capacity, pre-booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Is there wheelchair access throughout Alice in Winterland?

Alice in Winterland has full wheelchair access throughout the route.

Is parking free?

Yes, parking is free.

Do I need to print my ticket?

When you purchase your ticket online you will be emailed an e-ticket. You can either print this ticket off or simply show it on your phone at our admission kiosks on arrival.

How long will the trail of Alice in Winterland take?

This is dependant on how immersed you wish to be in the experience, listening to each lantern audio, etc - but we advise allowing 1 hour to complete the route. As there are a handful of rides and attractions open as well, we suggest allowing 2.5 hours to enjoy the whole experience.

Will there be food and drink available at the event?

Yes, a variety of food and drink outlets will be open during the event including some seasonal favourites.

Will I be able to pay with cash/credit card?

Yes, cash and card payments are both accepted.

Am I allowed to smoke at Alice in Winterland?

We have designated smoking areas at the event. Smoking is not permitted outside of these areas.

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?

No, tickets are not refundable or exchangeable. You can find full ticketing Terms & Conditions on the Lightwater Valley website.

Am I allowed to take photographs at the event?

Yes, photography is allowed.

Do you allow dogs at the event?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed into the event, with the exception of assistance dogs.

What do I do if I’ve lost something at Alice in Winterland?

We have a lost and found point onsite or you can alert a member of staff with a radio who will assist you. If you realise you have lost an item after the event then please email leisure@lightwatervalley.co.uk.
